How our pricing works
Every vehicle shows its pricing model, what is included and what may cost extra. Here is what each model means.
Pricing models
- Fixed price per load: one price for one load, within the stated conditions.
- Starting price: the lowest price for the service. The final amount depends on your job details.
- Hourly (truck and driver): charged per hour, usually with a minimum number of hours.
- Per kilometre: charged on distance travelled, usually with a minimum charge.
- Per day: the vehicle and driver for a full day, with a stated distance allowance.
- By volume or load size: a price for each load-size band (for example a quarter, half or full load).
- Base price plus extras: a base price that includes set distance and labour, with extra charges beyond that.
- Custom quote: priced individually once we know the details.
What can change the price
Distance, load size and weight, disposal fees, stairs and long carries, helpers, waiting time, tolls, and weekend or after-hours work. Each listing states which of these apply.
Estimates are not binding quotes
Any amount calculated on this website is an estimate based on the information you give. Your price is confirmed in a quote from us, and nothing is booked until you accept it.
Pricing questions
Are the prices on the website final?
No. Prices shown online are starting prices or estimates based on the information available. Your final price is confirmed in a quote once we know the load, distance, access and any disposal requirements.
Do prices include VAT?
Each price shows whether VAT is included. If you need a tax invoice, mention it when you request a quote.
