Removals, truck hire & rubble removal in Klein & Central Karoo

The Western Cape's Karoo regions include the Klein Karoo (Oudtshoorn, Calitzdorp, Ladismith and Barrydale) and the Central Karoo along the N1 (Laingsburg, Prince Albert and Beaufort West). Towns are small and far apart, so most jobs are long-distance moves and deliveries.

Jobs we often quote for the Karoo

• Moves between Cape Town and Karoo towns
• Farm and smallholding deliveries
• Moves between Karoo and Garden Route towns
• Truck hire with driver for one-off transport jobs

Planning a Karoo move

• Distances are long and services along the route are spaced out, so moves are planned around the journey time.
• Farm access roads are often gravel and may be affected by weather.
• Send a map pin for rural addresses and details of gates and turning space.

Pricing for the Karoo

Karoo jobs are priced as custom quotes based on distance, load size and any overnight requirements, with tolls charged at cost. Share both addresses and an inventory or photos, and we'll confirm whether we can do the route before quoting.

Good to know

Karoo moves often involve rural addresses, so a precise map pin, the farm name and the name of the nearest town are essential. Gravel roads and river crossings can be affected after heavy rain, so tell us about recent weather and any low-water bridges on the route. Summer temperatures in the Karoo are high. Heat-sensitive items such as candles, electronics and some foods should travel with you rather than in the truck. If your move is part of a relocation from Cape Town, combine everything into one trip where possible, as the distance makes extra trips expensive. Share a full inventory and both addresses, and we'll confirm whether we can do the route.
